HAMBURG, Oct 11 (Reuters) - The Korea Feed Association (KFA) purchased an estimated 66,000 metric tons of animal feed corn expected to be sourced from either South America or South Africa in an international tender on Wednesday, European traders said.
It was said to have been bought one consignment at the outright price of $257.85 a ton
c plus capsule Price&f plus a $1.50 a ton surcharge for additional port unloading.
The corn was sought for arrival in South Korea around Jan. 31, 2024. The seller was believed to be trading house ADM.
Results reflect assessments from traders and further estimates of prices and volumes are still possible later.
The tender from the KFA´s Busan section sought shipment between Dec. 3-Dec. 22 if sourced from South America or for Dec. 13-Jan. 1 if from South Africa.
